Collection of Success threads.

Postby kjay » Thu Aug 01, 2013 12:20 am

It would be nice to be able to link the newcomer to a collection of threads like this viewtopic.php?f=36&t=11994&start=15 for example. To show how someone has progressed into getting to a meeting for the first time. It's threads like the one above that would be great to archive. That way a newcomer could read it and see that their story isn't much different then many others.

So my thoughts are this. To have a forum called archives/ sub forum/ "first meetings". Some other sub forums could be called "My husband don't want me to go to meetings", "I'm an atheist", "I am a businessman who". You know, some of the popular most reaccuring subjects the newcomers have.

All that stuff costs extra.
What do you have to offer in exchange for those services?

Well, if Kjay really is just a Image
then I probably should have also ignored him/her.
If not then He/She should get an honest answer as to why the request can or cannot be filled.

Just a suggestion. I'm not forum savvy so I don't even know if I made sense.

I have to admit, I was getting a little concerned when I got the "extra cost" message. I was kinda kicking myself for making a suggestion, and not wanting to do the any extra effort to make it happen. One of my personal defects is handing over my thought's to others to carry it through, instaed of putting forth the effort. I decribe that as an "armchair quarterback". The guy trying to coach the team from the chair in his living room. Yelling at the TV that they should have ran the play his way.

Thanks guys. Working on my sense of humor,
Ken
