A valuable lesson learned!

Hi all,

I am kinda new (about week), well last week if it could go wrong (gas leak with possible evacuation), loss of electricty almost everday, car repair of $200 (more in debt and I am unemployed but looking very hard).

Came home after the car repair - no power so I could not email my sponsor. sat in the dark, cried and had a pitty party for me. I tried talking to my HP (my deceseased gram) and I guess I missed her signs.

So especially with that being my 1st week of being sober, I went to the bar and bought a quart of beer. Realized how dumb that was so I 'tossed my cookies" the best I could.

In the chat room the following day Bert was GREAT - he said so??? who is to blame?

I responded 'me' and he said yes absolutely!

That night I went to a friends house who does not drink, watched a movie and ate pizza. Came home to find my toilet tank and blown a leak - I just laughed as I cleaned up the mess and said "gram you are really testing me :D "

Went to bed, called the plumber the next morning and I am back on track.

A great big (((hug))) and thank you to Bert
