"As in no other season we of AA gratefully reflect upon that miracle of rebirth and regeneration which has befallen us…."

Bill W., 1951

"Un-crazy" Holidays is the theme of the December issue.

Grapevine offers stories in its holiday issue that deal with handling the holidays sanely. In this issue a newcomer gets through her first holiday party sober while another beginner's story represents the serendipity of service in meetings with even newer members. The December issue also features stories of hope under the toughest of conditions such as that of a jailed mother's sobriety and her AA service while in prison.
