Excruciating pain!

Postby Norwejn » Mon Jan 26, 2009 1:22 pm

Can I cuss here?
(%^&!!! *&^%er so*&%!!!)

I caught this cold goin around last week. It was a NASTY one...then on friday, after being sent home from work, I was pickin up a box and threw out my back. :x
This is day 4 of the most incredible INDESCRIBABLE pain I have ever felt.
Lumbar (lower back toewards the base of the spine) is on freakin fire. Hurts to make even the slightest movement. Walkin to the fridge takes a ridiculous amount of energy and courage.

An hour after it happened I was at the chiropractor and have gone in each morning since. That was very smart ("we will intuitively know how to handle situations that used to baffle us") because it apparently will decrease the healing time.

Anyway, I would appreciate any prayers and nice thoughts you can muster.

BTW, Thank you God for this injury so that I may further appreciate a life free of pain. :)

Hell, I need some tasty delicious smoky bacon. Make it a double!

My Brother, you have my prayers.

I know what you are going through. In 2002, three days before my 6th anniversary a tractor trailer fell asleep with his cruise control on seventy. I was escorting a piece of machinery in the right lane doing 20 mph. He ran over the pickup I was driving. They flew me to Shock Trauma in Balt. and the hospital told my brother that there was not a good chance I would live till the end of the day.

But hey I am here!!! LOL not whole but good enough to exercise and stretch every day. However, my back has never been right, nor my right arm. I lift weights but only if I use a bench. Of course there is pain if I move the wrong way so I know where you are coming from. I love to go out on my canoe and go fishing, then I pay for it for the next two days.

My skull was broken from the front to the back and they used big staples to put it back together. LOL my friends tell me I ain't been right since (assuming I was before).

Hang in there with the Doc, pain is no fun. Come to think about it, that is why I am sober.

take care man.........hey you got more time to be here

Hey Norwejn

My prayers are with you . But you did a well job when you feel that intense pain and you visited an chiropractor . Chiropractors helps us out with our pains without any medications.
