Mr. L is serving 10 years at the correction facility we take meetings into. He will be there for 2 more more. Once in a while there are some people who get his hopes up for a early release, again to be shot down by the judge. This has been going on for couple of years. He is sentenced with no parole. Recently there was another such movement. I asked him did he hear anything this week, while I was leaving the facility. He said, he said it doesn't matter if it comes through or not, he is at peace. I thought thats the 10th step promise there.
