6 Months Sobriety

Postby Roman James » Mon Feb 20, 2017 10:23 pm

I haven't posted much lately but just wanted to check in and say I'm still sober with 6 months sobriety.

Congratulations! Next week will be nine months for me and I cannot tell you how much better I feel. This forum is a very valuable resource- keep up with it! I am now on it every day. Going to meetings is important and a vital part of recovery, but I find reading this forum gives me a much more diverse point of view on recovery and alcoholism in general. =biggrin

Congrats Roman! Good to "see" you! Did you find a good face to face meeting for a Home Group? Do you have a sponsor?

Hey Roman. Good to hear from you.

Congratulations on 6 months of sobriety!!!

How do you like the meetings at the 502 club?

hi Roman....Congratz...half a cake is a big deal
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in pretty, well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming WOW What a ride!!!!
