90 days!!

Post by piceanjoy »

I celebrated 90 days last week. I had a relapse 7 years ago after being completely sober for five years. Even though I didn't drink (as I was a rock bottom drunk when I first entered the rooms) I was completely devastated emotionally and spiritually after being in a purple haze and out of the program for so long. I can't wait to get a sponsor too. I've been doing meetings every week and my life has already turned around so significantly after returning to AA and a life committed to my sobriety. Thank you for being here! :) <3

Glad you are here and congratulations on that important milestone.

Now do it all again as they say..and, one day at a time, you will have 180 days before you know it!

I have assigned you a sponsor so do check your spam mail.

Here's a couple of useful links:

An excellent introduction on sponsorship, permanent or temporary, with questions and answers, is this pamphlet

90 days! That's a very long time in alcoholic countings! Congrats! And many more!

It takes courage to come back and admit relapse and get back into real sober living. Keep it up and before you know it 6 months will be here
Work hard, stay positive, and get up early. It's the best part of the day.
