Hi Alexie: Wil,alcoholic: Well,, it takes what it takes to get us out of the old life (or non-life) and onto a program of recovery ! You have started that journey, now, decissions must be made and a better way worked on. Many have recovered using the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, but, it takes work and doesn't always come easily. The only suggestion I can make is to be as dedicated to recovery as you were to your addiction ... I'll be praying for you.. \\\ Wil ///

Thanks y'all. The weird thing was, I was so good at hiding my drinking that no one knew I was drunk, not even my husband. At work, my boss kept telling me to get help for my 'anger' problem. Then, when i threatened to kill one of my employees(because I was VERY drunk), and they fired me, I still didn't think it had anything to do with alcohol. I thought it was because everyone was out to get me. It wasnt until four months later that I relized it WAS my fault and I did it because I'd been drinking.

Hii again Alexie : Hope you are still doing well ! This recovery thing is a wonderful ride once one gets the hang of it ! --- Well,,you can think that none knew you were drunk at various times at work and home and such, but, most people around us know it long before we realize that they do.They just don't want to broach the subject because of expected reactions. Happy that you faced your part of the situation and decided to get help to get out of that lifestyle and into a better sober life !
