Welcome to AA. I am stephanie in TX.

I started going to meetings, got a sponsor and started the steps. Please keep sharing, go to meetings and things do get better.
Just do not drink today and we are here to listen and share ESH.

Hi Lucas, WELCOME!! :heartpump:

How can we help?

Have you called Alcoholics Anonymous in your phone book? Give that number a ring, and ask for help in getting to a meeting.

That's the best help I ever got in my life.

You're now part of our online AA community here at e-AA ... and I've gotten a lot of help here as well. We have email meetings and a 24/7 chat room, a great place to hang out and avoid that first drink. To explore those options go to http://www.e-aa.org/html/forums.html and click on Let's Chat or Sober Mail.

Very glad you joined us here . . . keep posting!

Hugs from Finland,

Ann (ann2)

I'm going to AA as soon as possible. This is the first time in my life that I actually wanted to get better. I'm tired of drinking and I can't stand it anymore.

I'll call AA and try to get a ride to a meeting. I have no car and that's my only chance.
