Hello! New & Thankful for this Forum

Postby atlantan » Sun Jan 18, 2015 8:20 pm

Hello from a newbie from the southeast USA! I'm newly sober and just beginning to work the Steps. I'm so thankful for this online forum and for my amazing sponsor who told me about it. I'm powerless over alcohol and my life has become unmanageable. This much, I know. :(

Hello Atlantan! Sounds like you have a good sponsor... working the steps & getting into a Forum you can visit daily to practice the principles of this program! I haven't missed but a day or two since I found it! I know that it really helps me work whatever Step I am working on and helps me remember to practice this program everyday as part of the maintenance of my spiritual condition!

I LOVE the Daily Reflections Forum in our Closed Discussion section - you should check it out if you haven't already. We have a nice little group there. And we are there everyday, just like the Fellowship in general. You don't ever have to do this alone - not anymore.

Glad you are here!
If I'm not able to say how I'm working my program today, then I'm not working my program.

Thanks Duke and PaigeB! I will definitely check that out, PaigeB. Thanks for pointing me that direction. Sort of hard to know where to head. I'll check it out, for sure. :D
