This is from http://www.aa.org/lang/en/aa_internatio ... rigpage=31 just in case anyone's wondering. I wasn't sure if it was a suffering alcoholic asking for a personal call so I did a search, appears to be the Maldives Intergroup simply making their phone number available.

We ask that people not post email addresses in order to avoid spamming and other misuse of email accounts. but I don't see any problem if someone wants to put their phone number, or if an intergroup wants to provide contact info other than email addresses.

Maybe we should EDIT the OP to reflect that it is an Intergroup phone number?

Would someone mind filling me in of the status of AA in the Maldives? I am considering a relocation to and Island there, but would love to know if there are ANY meeting to speak of. ??? If I actively pursued the opening of a meeting, would there be support? attendees??? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Kevin C.

Hi Kevin! I must say, I do some public information for AA on an International basis and there seems to be a lot of interest in the Maldives! So if there is NOT a meeting, do what Bill W. did - find doctors and priests and set up a coffee pot!

Feel free to call or email or snail mail GSO - they are always glad to help!
