We've been thinking about a couple of new program, in addition to continuing to wait for articles for "Sanity," our proposed online journal.
1. There are a hundred and fifty or so people registered for the chat program. However, it appears that people visit at differing times; in other words, people, especially those new to AA arrive and there's no one to chat with. What about a sign up sheet so people can commit to hanging around (signing into) the chat rooms and be available at specific times for visitors who need help?
2. We get numerous requests for online meetings. The suggestion in #1 would help a little, but we could also institute topic discussion mailing lists (people would be able to subscribe and unsubscribe themselves; everyone subscribed would receive mail when anyone on the list writes).
3. I found a pretty good, free greeting card program. Any interest in being able to send sobriety greetings?
Let us know what you think about these things, or anything else you'd like to see on the site.
------------------
"Whatever can be said
can be said clearly."
--Ludwig Wittgenstein

Just a quick update:
1. We now have two volunteers for the chat rooms. So, at least a couple hours are covered.
2. The mailing lists for email discussions should be ready this week sometime, along with an easy-to-use utility for subscribing and unsubscribing. So far, we've got four lists planned, one for newcomers to AA, one for Step discussions, one for Traditions discussions, and a general list for any topic. Any additional ideas or suggestions are always welcome.
3. There is now a virtual postcard system onsite.
