Hey All,
I am looking for an article called "Intergroup asks: Where have all the Volunteers gone?". it appeared on one of the Box 459 Holiday issues, i believe its year 2000. I am looking at the archives, they just have it from 2001. Does anybody have a copy of that edition?

It talks about difficulty in finding a person to make a 12 step call. The gentleman complains about the time it takes to speak to a person (about 20 minutes) usually these are some of the responses he gets:

How did you get the number?
What is a 12 step call?
Do i have to talk to a wet drunk?
I am busy more over today is my nn anniversary in AA and i have to pick up my nn chip.......
Show him, from your own experience, how the peculiar mental condition surrounding that first drink prevents normal functioning of the will power (Alcoholics Anonymous, Page 92)
