Marrying a female recovering alcoholic

If you're not an alcoholic but have questions about AA, here's the place to ask them. Anyone may post messages and replies in this forum.

Well we're definitely not postponing the wedding, we do share the same spiritual path which is probably our greatest strength.

She's told me how with all the wedding stuff she kinda got out of the routine of the basic stuff that really helps her out.

Still concerned about this guy, I trust her but do feel it's kinda inappropriate. Her sponsor told her that basically I just need to deal with it and that he needs her to be there and to jsut stop telling me about it.

Going to Al-Anon tonight for my first time.

I learned a lot from going to Al-Anon meetings. My only advice is to attend a few different meetings before you make up your mind about it.

Thanks,
Rusty
