If you're not an alcoholic but have questions about AA, here's the place to ask them. Anyone may post messages and replies in this forum.

I know this is probably hard for you but he is doing the right thing for his recovery right now. If this is meant to be it will work itself out on its own. Read the quote below...I'm not sure if you are in recovery or not but this applies to everyone...Big Book page 417...

And acceptance is the answer to all my problems
today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some
person, place, thing, or situation—some fact of my life
—unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until
I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being
exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God’s world
by mistake.
We have recovered, and have been given the power to help others. BB pg 132

Thank you so much. That's encouraging. I'm not in recovery and I'm just not familiar with all of the things that AA teaches. I know he goes to a meeting every day and talks to his sponsor and mentors daily. I just want to learn more about how he's being encouraged to view things, both concerning me/relationships and just his own journey in general.
