Looking For a Sponsor

Most of us who recovered with AA's program did so with the help of a "sponsor". But what is sponsorship? How do I get one? Who can be a sponsor? What makes a good sponsor?

“Already here and sober” and don’t know what to do? It is called despair when God can’t even help you –someone can do it, Right?

Apparently, 'G O D' is OK with AA sponsorship, or Ebby would have never taught Bill, Bill would have never taught Dr. Bob, and so on for the past 77 1/2 years.

Besides Bill W claiming Ebby as his sponsor, Bill also used Father Dowling for Spiritual Advisor, and there are those who believe Bernard Smith filled the function of Service Sponsor (in setting up AA's Service Structure)... Good enough for me!

Get rid of the Resentment...Keep coming back :)
Together, we don't have to cave in or wimp out to that Fatal First One, no matter what today!
