The following is on the agenda of the indicated committee for consideration at the 51st General Service Conference meeting to be held in New York City, April 22 through 28. It is on the agenda because it was thought worthy of AA-wide discussion.
Public Information Committee
Item: Consider that the 2001 AA Membership Survey be conducted by area on a random basis as was done in the 1998 survey.
Is there a better way of collecting this information? Is this survey comprehensive enough and really representative of AA membership? Do you think that the way it was conducted by area on a random basis was good? Do you think AA has no business collecting membership data?
[This message has been edited by Dean C (edited 03-12-2001).]

How would we know if we are helping or hurting A.A.? but most of all does anyone care? We need not fear we need to learn to let Go and let God
