New to e-mail

New to AA? Got questions? Here's the place to ask. Note that no one person speaks "officially" for AA. AA meetings in your local area are always the best source of information. Note that anyone may post and reply to messages in this forum.

Kathie, this is another of those times when a sponsor would come in handy.
Whether in, out, or around AA, it's very important to keep in mind that the AA program of recovery is the Twelve Steps. Meetings are great, and for me they are like a classroom. Most of life, however, and most of AA takes place outside of the meeting rooms.
If you're not feeling good -- depressed, etc. -- then that's all the more reason to get to those Steps. They will help you pinpoint the things that are wrong, and they will give you a way to correct them.
Keep postin'! We love you.
