A.A. Help

New to AA? Got questions? Here's the place to ask. Note that no one person speaks "officially" for AA. AA meetings in your local area are always the best source of information. Note that anyone may post and reply to messages in this forum.

Hi, Erik. Welcome to the e-AA Group.

Take a look in our links directory in the Canada section. See if there's something nearby.

Also, you might contact the General Service Office (they have email contacts). Perhaps they know of loner who's somewhere near you. They'll tell you if they do.

You might also subscribe to our email meetings to keep you company and in good spirits. Heck, we've got a number of folks from Canada in our group. Maybe no one near you, but ...

Anyway, welcome!

Hey Eric!

And I thought *I* lived in the sticks! Ouch! Bunch of little towns around you it looks like. I can't find anything at all in goggle or yahoo.

when I was new - I called all the police stations around here to find AA locally. One little town, I took a wrong turn, and got so lost I had to call 911, the person I talked to switched me to the police department of the town I was going to, and the cop came and got me, and led me right to the meeting!:-)

In a town of 300 folks, where liquor stores are the main industry, there will be at least 30 alcoholics. Ever think about starting a group?

AA has Loners snail mail meetings for folks in very remote locations, send them an email at
a few members of e-AA are loners members, I bet you'll hear from them to.

We have tons of meetings here at e-AA. Chat, email, and this forum. Lots of very nice helpful folks. For details, see this page:
