Well Cassie, I had my last beer on September 24,1971.
I've always considered that as my sobriety date.

This is the first time I've considered the question you have raised. :D

Hi Cassie, and welcome to our group! Congratulations on your 30days of sobriety! This is a big thing and I wish you the best.

I can't remember what year I got sober...isn't that a terrible thing? It was either 1977 or 1978...it was December 13th though. What difference does it make? NONE!

I'm just like you :D and Clark :D staying sober one-day-at-a-time!

AGAIN, CONGRATULATIONS and keep telling us what's going on with you!

Len :D

Congratulatin Cassie on 30 days of living one day at a time.

My last drink was either the 10th or the 11th. So I picked the 12th. Felt so bad that I can of forgot which day. Figured I would be safe. Plus it was the day that my f2f meeting meant. They only meant 3 days a week in the town that I lived in at that time.

Have a good day,

Good question... had to think a moment!

Sobriety begins with the end of the last drink. It takes weeks to physically sober up, and much longer to mentally recover.

I was born on 1st October. That is my birth date. Even had I been born at 11.59pm, it would still be considered my birth date.

The day after, I was 1 day old.

My last drink was on 20th August 2000. That is my sobriety date.
