however when i would be alone and away from aa my head would tell me not to go back yes indeed, somehow in between meetings, my head comes up with similar thoughts sometimes as well: heard-it-all-before, same-old-same-old, no i'm not going to that meeting anymore, don't like the vibe there, don't l...

Alcoholics Anonymous (page 67) as already mentioned by others, this realization became very important to me as well, it offered me the opening i needed, through forgiveness, by undeserved letting go of the people who have harmed me, to break out of that vicious ...

I battle with myself, by telling myself I am not an alcoholic, but my personal relationships would tell otherwise. I quit smoking cigarettes for her 2 years ago, do I stop drinking too? thank you for your share, initially i couldn't identify with the label "alcoholic", but i did recognize the sympt...
