Re: AA and religion etc...

It is our own fault. When you pray religious prayers openly like one does in church, when you chant like one does in church, when you have rituals like religions do, it sure causes outsiders to think we are a religion. Even federal judges have ruled that we are a religion. And don't say "the traditi...

Defination of spontaneous recovery: "In classical conditioning, the reappearance of the conditioned response after a rest period or period of lessened response. Re: According to Bill

We learn from our own mistakes, besides, who the heck made sponsors geniuses. They may be smart and experienced but I don't think Bill W. or Dr. Bob ever intended them to run our lifes for us. And Happy Camper, feel for you. I just lost the best one I ever had. He was a real friend and a elder state...

Re: AA Principles - Personalities - "Bleeding Deacons"

I want to thank all of you. Have a similiar problem locally with someone spreading gossip about another who started a new group. Claiming that this person (newcomer to the area but old timer) is still drinking. Even a past delegate is partaking in the gossip!!! Saying she drinks communion wine and n...
