Re: Growing in A.A. across the globe

God and Alcoholics Anonymous saved my life! AA added to the quality of my life/sobriety by providing the 12 Steps of suggested recovery...AA is part of a miraculous and fascinating growth experience anywhere I have lived or traveled...AA has been part of the continously "recovering" me. I've learned...

Re: ESH: Having a Panic Attack

Dear Sheenah my friend, Panic attacks...I'd forgetten those horrible and mortifying feelings of suffocating desperation that made me think I was going to "snap" and go completely wild/insane...it's amazing to me the many miracles that start to happen during the slow yet natural part of "healing" in ...

Re: My husband doesn't want me to quit

Greetings Susanne, Welcome to sobriety! It's a one-day-at-a-time event and I'm glad you've joined us in recovery from alcoholism for TODAY Susanne! When I got sober there were no computer/internet/on-line anythings at AA. I went to face-to-face AA Meetings because I didn't know how NOT to drink anym...

Blue Moon wrote: "just don't drink and go to meetings" I agree with you Blue Moon and I also think this statement is not only a unworkable suggestion from "outside AA" but a unthinkable, dangerous and a harmful-to-others one too! Our main book entitled "Alcoholics Anonymous" clearly states on Page #...
