Re: Love to drink

I don't drink anymore... I freeze it and eat it like a PopSicle.
And you're not really drunk if you can lay on the floor without hanging on. :D

Re: youre all wrong

No reason to insult me Marc. I was using voice to text, that is why the wording is choppy. Fine, Try not to be so sensitive; I met a guy years ago who was employed by a StartUp HighTech company developing voice recognition software. Looks like they still haven't gotten it right. Anyway, I hope you ...

Re: How It Works, Step 4 - Study Questions

Marc, that was a resentment I wrote on my list years ago. Once I understood that God was the power that kept me sober and restored me to sanity, I lost that resentment. But in my early sobriety, I was seeing God as either a stingy sugar daddy and/or the creator of a seriously broken universe. The p...

Re: The White Light Experience

Maybe it was of the 'Ham On Wry' variety. :D September 1999 Vol. No. A DRUNK DECIDES to try horseback riding, even though she has had no lessons or prior experience. She mounts the horse unassisted, and the horse immediately springs into motion. It gallops along at a steady and rhythmic pace, but th...

Recovery begins with Step One.
Work it with a Sponsor if you find one.
Keep a written record of your work and then pass it on to the next newcomer.

Re: HELP ME!! I think I am an angry Dry Drunk.

I know for years I have buried my emotions under drink and drugs and I am not really in touch with my own feelings or really know myself in that sense. HELP ME!! Hey there SSECT; I'm Marc and I'm Alcoholic. I've met plenty of You over the years in AA. Seems you've got awholelotta' 'SadCrap' bottled...

Open Source

Several times on this Forum I've seen the following two questions; 'Am I an Alcoholic' and 'Is AA for me?' I looked through my AA paraphanalia, scratched my head a bit and then 'round Mid-December 2012 I decided to make a little Christmas Present for e-aa.org. I called it 'TheZone'. 'TheZone' is a p...

Re: What Are AA's Principles?

I think the 'principles' are purposely left vague; they're for us to find our own meaning in them. I also think the word 'principles' means just that; they're not hard-fast uncompromising rules. I mean if 'rigorous honesty' was a rule, rather than a principle, that could cause all kinds of trouble ...

God has always been, is and always will be around. :D
Simply because you think a problem is unsolvable does not mean the problem is unsolvable.
Keep going to meetings, share about it and have a little faith. The answer will come.

Hi; I'm the Other Marc... Same as the Other Marc. :D What is the difference between e-AA and E-AA And what is a Eorum? I'm fairly certain I typed Forum. Does this mean e-AA is hinting it would like to try a brand new suit instead of Left Overs. I'm just wingin' it here... Anyway, I do have one of th...
