Coordinator, Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the e-AA group's 12th Step and sponsorship committees.
2. Ensure, as reasonably practicable, that responders and temporary sponsors are sober and can recognize what AA is and what it isn't.
3. Submit at least one report a month to the Members business meeting of activities, traffic and significant changes.
12th Step Committee:
The Coordinator and the individual 12th Step responders comprise the 12th Step committee. The committee is responsible for ensuring that a sober e-AA member will respond promptly to calls for help from those who have yet to discover the option of AA-based recovery from alcoholism.
Temporary Sponsorship Committee:
The Coordinator and the individual temporary sponsors comprise the sponsorship committee. The committee is responsible for ensuring that a sober e-AA member offers to establish communication with new and prospective AA members, to introduce them to AA fellowship.
Each committee determines how, when, and by what means committee members will communicate. They will also determine how those requesting help will establish contact, and ensure that the appropriate communication is offered to the still-suffering alcoholic about how to obtain such assistance.
Responders and Temporary Sponsors are not required to subscribe to the members email list unless they plan to be available for the coordinator position.
