Observers on Committees

Introduction > General eAA Concepts > Procedures > Guidelines > Positions

Any Member has the right to sit on any committee as an observer.

Observers are non-voting and non-participating guests.

Unsolicited opinions will not be tolerated.

Questions, comments, or suggestions concerning a committee's operations should first be directed privately to the Chair or Coordinator before they bring it to Members, or our Group Secretary or Alternate Secretary for addition to the agenda.

If anyone has a problem with how a committee functions, and the respective committee chair doesn't ensure the committee addresses it, they should bring it to Members as new business.

When an observer disrupts committee operations, removal may be necessary.
