Elected Trusted Servants and Alternates
Elected Trusted Servants
The e-AA Group leaders are but trusted servants, they do not govern. It takes people to get group jobs done. We encourage limited terms of service commitments to maintain this spiritual fellowship. Rotation keeps A.A. members from becoming frozen in office. It also ensures that group tasks, like nearly everything else in A.A., are passed around for all to share. We needn't compete for titles or praise. We have complete freedom to serve as we are needed.
Trusted Servant Alternates
An Alternate can be a valuable asset to the group, committee or primary Trusted Servant, and can use the experience to move forward at rotation time. Any Alternate for a Trusted Service position should meet the same suggested requirements and be willing and able to step in for the Group in the absence of the primary Trusted Servant.
